The Purpose of Alpha Gamma Rho
“To make better men and through them a broader and better agriculture by surrounding our members with influences tending to encourage individual endeavor, resourcefulness and aggressive efforts along lines making for the development of better mental, social, moral and physical qualities; to promote a wider acquaintence and a broader outlook on the part of agricultural men through fellowship in a national organization that stands for the best social, mental and moral development.”
-From our founding in 1904, Alpha Gamma Rho has not changed our mission. While some of us do not live on a farm and many of us will not pursue a career directly related to agriculture, we all share our agrarian heritage and work ethic. We strive to recruit only the best and brightest men to become members that live the purpose of Alpha Gamma Rho --four years and a lifetime.
